"Prince Albert paintball team paints Edmonton red" in panow.com
A Prince Albert paintball team has taken fourth while competing in a national competition.
The Prince Albert Predators went head-to-head in the D4 division of speedball at the CPPL 2015 National Championships in Edmonton.
The five-man paintball team consists of Mason Bannerman, Rob Gage, Michael Klein, Jesse Mourot, Brad Paul and spare Kevin Mourot.
The team played in a round robin of 10 games, and was able to make it all the way to the final four where they banked a win, a tie and a loss, which brought them to a final two versus two showdown game.
Speaking about the final match, teammate Rob Gage said it was very intense.
“The final game was unexpected with the two-on-two match,” said Gage. “Mason and myself tried hard. Mason got an unlucky hit, and it was me against two of them, I took one with me, but we lost.”
But Gage said overall the team had a great time at the event.
“It was a great event, with tough refs, good facility, friendly staff and players.”
